Hi friends,
It’s been a while since our last update, and we're thrilled to reconnect! For those new to our community, welcome to the Climate Film Festival (CFF)—New York City’s first film festival dedicated to climate in all its forms. We have big plans for 2024, with a whole slate of programming and partnerships this spring in addition to our inaugural festival in September during Climate Week NYC. Stay tuned here for more information and updates.
Open Call for Film Submissions
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be launching our first-ever Open Call for film submissions on Wednesday, January 31st! Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or just beginning to explore climate narratives, we encourage you to participate. Stay tuned for detailed information on how to submit your work, and if you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out to us at programming@climatefilmfest.com.
Join Us at the NY Climate Tech X Climate Film Festival Meetup
We’re sold out, but have reserved spots for filmmakers. If you’re in the industry, contact us by replying to this email!
We're also excited to announce a special collaboration with NY Climate Tech for a January meetup. Join us from 6 to 9 PM on Wednesday, January 31st at the stunning rooftop of the Selina Hotel to network, exchange ideas, and celebrate the launch of our Open Call. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with the climate and film communities and to learn more about our upcoming events and film submissions process.
See you there!
